Dosage

Take this injection as prescribed by your doctor. Do not self-administer.  The injection is given as an infusion into your vein by a doctor or nurse.

Overdose

Usage Of Oxaltero (Oxaliplatin)

This medicine is used in the treatment of cancer that affects the large intestine of the digestive system. It stops the growth of cancer cells and also prevents the multiplication of cancerous cells. The use of this injection is not recommended in pregnant women and children. Your doctor decides the recommended dose of this medicine according to your medical condition and response to the treatment. Oxaliplatin is a chemotherapy drug that contains platinum. This medicine is also used with other medications to treat cancer. This medicine may decrease your blood count.
